The Finnish climate presents unique challenges for concrete structures. The freezing temperatures, heavy snowfall and prolonged wet season easily damage traditional membranes, exposing concrete to leaks and costly repairs.
Our technology is much different than traditional waterproofing. Penetrating deep in the concrete, an internal barrier is formed blocking the ingress of water. Unlike surface applied concrete that eventually deteriorate, our waterproofing systems ensure life-long protection, with no need for periodic inspections or maintenance. Our Waterproofing Technology
- CWS100 – A surface-applied liquid agent, that penetrates 15–20mm under the concrete surface, forming a water-insoluble gel. It seals pores and static cracks up to 2.2mm, while protecting the steel reinforcement from corrosion, because of intense chloride ingress arrest.
- CWS Admix – A crystalline waterproofing admixture, added directly to the concrete mix. Ideal for below-ground structures, foundations, tunnels, and water-retaining systems.
Both systems provide permanent waterproofing, come with a 25-year warranty, and carry several approvals for drinking water safety, among which world-recognized NSF/ANSI/61-CAN.
