The Origami Terminal in Turku, in Finland, is a three-storey, 10,000m2 terminal designed to include facilities for passengers, personnel of the Port of Turku and the shipping companies, and technical operations.
The terminal’s underground structures, which are located below the seawater level, are protected with CWS Admix. CWS Admix has been used in many marine projects around the world, as it completely seals the capillarity of concrete, protecting the steel rebar against corrosion from salinity. It is ideal for the aggressive environment of seaside projects.
